Product Description

                                                                                     Electro galvanized steel sheet (SECC):

            Fingerprint resistant, with excellent corrosion resistance, and maintains the processability of cold rolled sheet.

                                        Differences between electrogalvanized sheet and hot-dip galvanized sheet


1. Galvanizing, as a metal anti-corrosion method, usually involves placing the steel structure to be derusted into a zinc solution at around 500 ºC, allowing the zinc layer to adhere to the surface of the steel structure. Electroplating uses electrolysis to attach a metal film to the surface of materials such as metals, resulting in a uniform surface texture, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.


2. The galvanized coating is relatively thick, generally ranging from 30 to 60 microns, and has a high anti-corrosion ability. Steel parts suitable for outdoor work. The surface of the electroplated workpiece is smooth and flat, but due to the relatively thin coating, which is generally within 5-30 microns, the anti-corrosion time will be relatively short. They are all used for rust prevention of indoor components.


3. Galvanizing uses the principle of zinc resistance to atmospheric corrosion to conduct electrochemical protection for steel and other materials. The Zinc carbonate protective film on the surface can slow down the speed of zinc corrosion. Even if it is damaged, it will form a zinc film again. Electroplating is the use of chemical methods to separate zinc alloys into zinc ions, which have attached to the surface of steel. The zinc layer formed by this method is generally thin, and steel is prone to corrosion under normal circumstances.


4. The outer surface of the electroplating is relatively smooth and bright. The electroplating layer processed with color passivation will appear yellow green, while the electroplating layer processed with white passivation will appear cyan white. Generally, there is only a small amount of zinc layer on both ends of the galvanized steel pipe, and there is no zinc coating further inside. The galvanized outer surface is relatively rough, dark in color, and generally presents a silver white color. Due to the production process, some water marks and nodules are generated on the surface, which does not emit light or reflect light. The galvanized steel pipe has a complete galvanized coating on both the inside and outside.
